LEAD UNITY PROGRAMMERGame Troopers is currently undergoing an expansion and require a Lead Programmer to work on a range of mobile and some console titles.As the Lead Programmer you will be working on performance optimization & diagnostic on 3D and some 2D games, while leading and mentoring a small team of coders to produce a range of titles, you will also have a hand in contributing to the existing codebase, as well as creating your own code. As well as your day to day tasks, you’ll be in charge of finding and introducing tools that improve the development workflow of the team.The role would be best suited to a generalist programmer who likes challenges and problem solving and can plug into different areas of development and offer guidance throughout the whole project.This application is ideal for a Senior/Experienced Programmer who wants to step up to a Lead Position or a Lead Programmer who is interested in working on a variety of projects.In addition to a fantastic work environment with people from different geographical origins, successful candidates can also take advantage of exclusive studio benefits such as a competitive salary and free drinks.Requirements:• Experience on performance profiling, optimizations and adjustments.• Experience of released titles for mobile/consoles.• Knowledge of the rendering pipeline and it’s parts• Experience with CG shaders, while knowledge of HLSL or GLSL is a plus.• Unity and C# experience• Some C++ experienceThe work place is based in Lleida, Spain.
